Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III must honor the Viking tradition: being bold, brave, and tough, especially when dealing with dragons. However, Hiccup is everything a Viking shouldn’t be–scrawny, not very fearless, and, most of all, far too friendly with dragons. That wouldn’t be a problem if he hadn’t reached the age of initiation, a grueling test where he must prove he deserves the privileges of his Viking tribe.
