Second Chance is a story of a young man, Trey Barry, who attempts to end his life after enduring insatiable bullying and mortified public shaming. Although he survives jumping 180 feet from the Skyway Bridge into the Tampa Bay waters, his bruised and battered body and fragile emotional and morose state present daunting challenges for him to recover and lead a normal life. Trey’s recovery goes from bad to worse as he is placed in a Dr. Phil type Wilderness Program and subjected to experimental psychological practices. Along the way, he is transformed from pacifist to aggressor. But his family and faith in God help him find his way for a new beginning and second chance.
