Made by connoisseurs and lovers of Lovecraft, including scholar Maxime Le Dain, Abrams is honored to present the first tarot deck solely dedicated to this special universe. The illustrations of the Cthulhu Dark Arts Tarot were made by F rtifem. First entirely drawn by hand, each illustration was scanned and then colored using a computer. To ensure that the finished product honors the quality of the illustrations, as well as the greatness of the Cthulhu Mythos, they are printed on high quality paper. The format (3.35″ x 6.50″) chosen for this Cthulhu Mythos-inspired tarot is much larger than the usual divinatory tarot decks, including the Tarot of Marseille. This format is close to one of the oldest tarot decks, the “Visconti-Sforza” created by the artist Bonifacio Bembo between 1428 and 1447.
