It is not possible to articulate in words the sudden flash when I understood the secret warp of Love that underlies the universe – the ultimate Love to which we are all called. The unfathomable experience simply detonated the verses, and with the verses I paint a verbal world far distant from the ecstasy I experienced, yet one that is a child of that ecstasy. I trust that the verses preserve at least some of the fragrance of the transcendental space I set foot on one day. I expect nothing from them; I know they are vulnerable and fragile, but when they forced themselves on me, I had to let them out. The moment had come – however terrifying – to sing what I had lived.
