Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks

Rejoice always,

Pray continually,

Give thanks in all circumstances;

For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

A few years ago, I ran across these verses. After reading them several times, it registered with me that we are actually supposed to live this way. I also realized that I didn’t know how. So I started exploring, trying to figure out how rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks continually was possible in this seemingly crazy world. A lot of this study stems from what God revealed through Scripture, prayer, and the incredible examples of others. This study is ten weeks in length. It is long enough to affect thought patterns and habits that can aid in rejoicing, prayer, and giving thanks, leaving the participant with a much more balanced perspective as they journey to their true home.
