The Making of a Beautiful Woman was birthed from my full beauty salon, Simply Beautiful & Company. Being a hairstylist for over 32 years taught me a lot about being a woman. Not just beautiful on the outside but beautiful inside as well. Making women look beautiful on the outside was easy with all the different hairstyles, beauty, tips, make-up, jewelry, and clothing to top it off. However, convincing her to be beautiful on the inside well, was challenging because of all the trials and tribulations that can cause a girl to feel ugly on the inside and lock her self-esteem that she needs to feel beautiful.
I started incorporating some principles with every appointment. I made it my business to encourage every woman to be better inside than out, no matter what they were going through. I gave them God’s word concerning us as women; I reassured them that God was the center of our beauty and that beauty was way more than skin deep.
