In the small town of Glen Rock, Iowa, Sally Andersen, owner of the neighborhood bakery, finds the dead body of a high school athlete
while out running the local trails with her dog, Goldie. She soon learns that it’s the body of a boy that works for her after school and on
weekends and who’s also befriended her sister, Nora, who is autistic. Learning that he died of a fentanyl overdose, Sally sets out to ensure
this same type of tragedy doesn’t happen again in their community.
But will the risks to her, her family, and the friends who try to help her be too much?
